Kirevona Privacy Policy

Privacy at Kirevona

Kirevona is designed to minimize the use and sharing of personal data. Most profile, nutrition, meal, workout and progress information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide the app features you choose to use.

Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, Kirevona may process information such as your profile details, goals, nutrition and meal information, workouts, progress, sleep and wellbeing information, dietary restrictions, allergies, intolerances and other information that you choose to provide.

Storage and server processing

Kirevona uses local application storage, including its local database and application preferences, to provide app functionality and remember your settings.

If you use a Kirevona account or purchase/subscription features, limited account, entitlement and subscription information is also processed on Kirevona's server-side services.

For purchase verification, the app sends the product identifier, purchase identifier when available, store verification data and store source to Kirevona's backend, which may verify that information with the applicable app store. Kirevona stores limited entitlement and subscription status needed to provide access; entitlement records may also retain a store verification reference associated with the grant. Account-linked server records are deleted when the account is deleted.

Open Food Facts

When you use supported barcode or food lookup functionality, Kirevona may send the product barcode to the Open Food Facts service in order to retrieve available product information.

Sensitive information

Some optional information may be sensitive, including health-related information, allergies, intolerances, diabetes-related information, sleep and wellbeing data, menstrual information and diastasis adaptations. Kirevona applies additional consent and privacy controls to sensitive information. Sensitive health context is not provided to advertising for targeting.

Advertising and consent

Kirevona may use Google advertising services for supported advertising features. Where required, the app uses a consent flow before advertising may be requested. Advertising is kept separate from sensitive health and profile context.

Kirevona AI

Kirevona 1.0 uses deterministic in-app logic for its current AI-assisted features. The current production configuration does not connect the AI provider pipeline to an external large language model. Kirevona does not send your complete user profile to an external AI provider.

Age requirement

Kirevona 1.0 is intended for users aged 18 years and older. The application prevents users under 18 from completing the normal profile and onboarding age requirements. Additional defensive privacy safeguards for minors may remain within the application architecture.

Your privacy controls

From the Privacy & Data section of your profile, you can export your personal data, review or withdraw applicable sensitive-data consent, and delete your Kirevona account and associated user data through the available privacy controls. If you delete your Kirevona account, account-linked Kirevona server records are deleted and the applicable local user data is cleared.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Kirevona features, data practices or third-party services change. Material changes to data processing should be reflected in an updated version of this policy.
